Paris - London by train in 1889

A poor lonesome wooden box was dropped in a garret. With her magic wand, a good fairy turned it into a wonderful case...
Let's stop dreaming! Fairies don't work. They spend their time varnishing their fingernails, visiting aesthetic surgeons in Switzerland and doing aerobics!

I made this box, with my hands, antique fashion journals, gouache and brushes.

As my other so chic French creations, this small storage case is unique, exclusively made with antique elements, daily use resistant...

I enjoy to give a new stylish use to old boxes, to show that French fashion is top one since a long time, that a beautiful artifact can be useful as well.
This box will be nice to keep into jewelry, needleset... everything you wish.

Paris, gare Saint Lazare in 1887

I like very much this little box!
It's my latest creation.
It has been a true pleasure to choose the range of colours.
These elegant Parisian young girls are buying train tickets at Saint Lazare station, in Paris; I'm quite sure of that. Architecture is identifiable, indeed.
Look at the expressions of faces, attitude of people behind: it's exactly the atmosphere of a station hall (everyone is polite, refined, elegant... isn't it?).
It would be so smart to offer a beautiful necklace or bracelet, presented in this box... Pearls or diamonds?

Le Journal des Demoiselles: the latest creation

I used a small antique box, formerly containing silver tea spoons, to make my latest creation. The imprint I pasted comes from an authentic Journal des Demoiselles. The two handpainted characters are particularly charming!
This box would be nice to put into business cards, for example. Put down on a desk, it will be very chic!
A good gift idea for a friend.
You may think about putting into make-up pencils or lipsticks as well.
